Light weight and pleasant texture. Feels more like a expensive face lotion than a sun block. Creamy without being thick. No sticky residue and no shine or glow that I could detect. But not a flat matte either. I have hated sun block and sprays for decades and had to force myself to use them. They were either sticky or slippery and just generally unpleasant to wear. It just made my skin feels all greasy and weird. This is the most elegant textured sun block I have tried and because of that I will actually use it. Also it actually felt somewhat moisturizing which will be great for my forearms and neck areas. And to get an SPF 70 - that is incredible. I wish we had had such great sun blocks in the 60s and 70s. I might not have had so many bouts with various skin cancers. I'm tossing out all my other sprays and lotions. They just can't compete with this one. This is light years from other blocks I've tried. It's high rating is deserved. I have not been out in the sun intentionally so I can not say if I still get burnt.

I burn really easily. I bought this in hopes it could get me through a 9 hour day in the sun. I applied this sunscreen four times in 9 hours and the only spot I am burned on is a spot I forgot to apply sunscreen! 10/10 recommend and it doesn't feel bad on your skin either!

The product itself is great! I’m glad I purchased it and it doesn’t not feel sticky or greasy at all.I deducted a star due to the bottle leaking in the packaging. This should probably be placed in a ziplock type bag or taped shut.Otherwise, highly recommend.

This is the only sunscreen I’ll use on my son (6). This and the stick version! We spend a ton of time outside, in the hottest hours of the day, and my son has yet to have a sunburn. Nor has he broken out in rashes like he has in the past. Love this stuff!

I love this sunscreen. Used it for 10+ years. It smells great, doesn't feel greasy and rubs in well. I haven't had any issues with clogged pores or breakouts when using either.

We love the Neutrogena Beach Defense sunscreen. It really does keep your skin from being burned as long as it is applied as directed. We have 2 redheads in our household so we reapply more often and at a minimum of every hour and it does keep them well protected.
